For the player that Moazzam is, he is the true definition of consistency. As in, he consistently finishes every year with around 70 GN PTS (+/- 5 PTS). And last year was no exception, finishing with 70.5 PTS. The year of marriage was tough for the once young prospect of GNBL. Attendance, fitness and injury lead to an 9th place finish for formerly speedy lefty. What’s more is Moazzam finished 5th in GN PPG amongst regulars which for most would be a great finish but an embarrassment for someone who many believe is the best player in the league. So can a top player get Most Improved and MVP in the same season? If there ever was a chance it was this year by this player.
PLAYER DESCRIPTION
The dangerous lefty keeps all opposing captains up at night trying to figure out how to stop him. Incredible basket to basket speed gives Moazzam what appear to be easy looks but don’t be fooled. He takes as much contact as anyone in the league but is able to finish consistently in the paint.
