Lucky or good? Sameer finished a shocking 6th in GN points in 2023-24 compared to his league low amongst full season regulars of 14 ADP. He was the only player in the league to be fully part of 2 dynastys. So it again begs the question, is he just lucky to be on good teams? Or is he an underrated talent? We prescribe to the second as his defense continued to improve, earning him Most Improved Player in 2023-24 and he continued to develop his offensive identity. If Sameer continues to learn and grow, he has one of the highest ceilings in the league. He’s a mid-range away from being a serious consideration for captains every week.
PLAYER DESCRIPTION
Sameer is the little engine that not only could, but indeed does. A great motor and great defensive instincts keep him constantly involved on that end of the floor. He finds his lanes on offense and once he finds his finishing touch, even 18 feet and in, his stock will shoot up.
