JDAWG IS BACK! The electrifying C returns to GNBL pumped at the chance at the GN championship. Finishing a very impressive 3rd place in 2023-24, Jawwad must be feeling like he was a few bounces away from potentially taking home the crown. Jawwad had more than double the blocks of anyone in the league last year but that was in tighter spacing. The lumbering tower of joy will have the biggest adjustment of anyone in 2024-25. Bigger courts with more spacing could see him matched up on the perimeter with guards more often where he struggled to move his feet and stay out of foul trouble. The 3 point line also moves back for someone who struggled with the long ball to begin with, it will either encourage him to abandon the 3 or could lead to more ill advised shots. However as his 3rd place finish shows, don’t underestimate the gentle giant, he’s become a force in GNBL.

Biggest of the bigs in GNBL, Jawwad is a matchup nightmare on a nightly basis. His length along with his mid range touch make it difficult for teams in the paint on both ends.
