Hannan had a 24/25 season to forget. He started the season rough, not only not developing the mid-range shot but struggling from in close as well. There was a lid on the net for Hannan and it spiraled into poor shooting performance after poor shooting performance. It seemed to impact his defense too as his struggles on one end lead to lost intensity on the other. Hannan finished second last in GN PTS amongst regulars, which is unacceptable for someone of his caliber. On the bright side, no where to go but up for Hannan. He needs to keep his head down, bring his lunch pail on any given night and just go to work. No matter the result, Hannan needs to be an island who looks to continue his strong defense, and look to contribute on offense as the game dictates. Hannan is another favourite for the Most Improved Award.

Strength in numbers doesn’t apply when you’ve got Hannan Uppal strength. The one man army can play multiple positions thanks to his lateral quickness, balance and raw power. As his shot improves he’ll become a handful for defenses to try an guard on the perimeter and in the post.
