The youngest Sheikh is back! Mahd follows his big bro in tying the knot in the off-season. It proved to be a distraction for Moazzam but how will Mahd handle it? Injuries have plagued Mahd so with the new responsibilities and added health concerns, it remains to be seen how much he can even make it on to the court. If he does, we expect him to go back to being the new age big who can run the floor and distribute. This is a bounce back year for Mahd, expectations are in check but every player in the league will just be happy to see him present every Thursday.
PLAYER DESCRIPTION
The youngest Sheikh is one of the most difficult matchups. A much improved post game means he’s a handful in the post but can’t be matched with bigs because he’ll use his handles and deceptive first step to go right by. As he gets healthier and his game matures, it’s no wonder Mahd is dubbed the future of GNBL.
